These are raw text brain-dumps.
The demos on this page are rough technology demos. They are mostly bloated and
hard to use. They may not run on poor/old 3d accelerators, and may not run in
software rendering mode. They require a PC with DirectX 8. Most demos
have readme.txt files and demo.bat files; you know what to do with them.

Progressive Meshes
Very fast View Independent Progressive Mesh demo. This is a very early demo of
VIPM; better ones will follow. Version 2 now includes VIPM's for the Stanford

Continuous-LOD Terrain
Continous-LOD dynamically tesselation view-dependent terrain. Adjusts tesselation for the
actual running speed, tesselates more in silhouttes and adds polys only where needed. Fly-by and

L-System Trees
Procedurally generated (L-System) tree. The Tree object extends the Curve and TriMesh objects
in GameDriver; this is a cool demo of a user-extension to the gamedriver plugin objects. Play with the
